Bawaseer Kya Hoti Hai?-Piles Treatment

Piles treatment is a matter on which the sufferer must not take any chances. This is because the symptoms of this disease are very painful and irritating to the patients. The symptoms of this condition include blood in stools, pain in rectal area, inflammation of anus and swelling of lower leg. If these symptoms are ignored, it might lead to more severe hemorrhoids which could cause more serious problems.

Hemorrhoids can be caused by different factors. These factors include chronic constipation, straining during bowel movement, pregnancy, aging, obesity and lifting of weights. It is important for the doctor to establish the main cause of hemorrhoids before recommending piles treatment. There are various ways of treating
hemorrhoids, including medicines and natural remedies.

One of the common piles treatment (piles ka ilaj) is medication. There are medicines available in the form of capsules, tablets, liquids and ointments. Some of the medicines have to be taken orally, while others need to be applied on the affected area. Some of these medicines help in decreasing inflammation and swelling of the lower region of the rectum or anus. However, most of the medicines are only useful for reducing pain. In most of the cases, these medicines are not effective in removing the stools or stopping the bleeding caused by hemorrhoids.

For severe cases, hemorrhoids surgery may be recommended. However, in such cases, strict adherence to all the instructions of the surgeon is necessary. During the operation, the surgeon removes the piles by cutting the veins or arteries feeding the rectum and anus. Another process called sclerotherapy is also used to remove the veins.

However, most of the patients who resort to surgery do so because of chronic constipation. Chronic constipation is caused by a poor diet that does not provide adequate fiber content. This causes the bowel movements to become irregular and watery. The patient is then advised to change his/her diet. It is also important to add more fresh fruits and vegetables into the daily diet.

Hemorrhoids or baadi bawaseer are classified as internal or external. The internal piles occur inside the rectum while the external piles are located outside the anus. Internal piles cause pain in the anal intercourse. On the other hand, the external piles cause severe pain while passing stool.

However, there are many other causes of hemorrhoids. These include lifting of weights, long hours of sitting and constipation. People who are overweight also suffer from hemorrhoids. Hypertension is another common cause of the symptoms of piles.

Sometimes, the symptoms of piles are confused with those of hemorrhoids. If the anal vein becomes inflamed due to excess pressure in the rectum, it could be mistaken for hemorrhoids. Thus, the first step towards curing the condition is consulting the doctor. Only a professional can make a correct diagnosis of the condition and recommend the right treatment method.

In most cases of internal piles, no serious medical condition is involved. In order to avoid complications, the doctor may recommend treating the condition through a hemorrhoid (baadi bawaseer). In case of bleeding internal piles may need surgical therapy. This may involve stitches, cauterization and removal of a section of the anal wall. Bleeding hemorrhoids can be avoided by changing the lifestyle and diet of the patient.

Patients suffering from piles can also improve their health by improving their lifestyle. Patients suffering from this condition are advised to keep their body fit by exercising on a regular basis, leading a healthy and active lifestyle and avoiding sitting for prolonged periods of time. Patients should try to avoid spicy foods and alcohol if they want to avoid swelling of the veins around the anus. Patients who drink too much alcohol or take strong tea and coffee are also advised to cut down on these habits to reduce their weight.

Patients with external piles may also benefit from an effective bowel movement exercise program. This helps in increasing the flow of urine and stool and relieving constipation. Patients should eat healthy, fresh and unprocessed food and avoid oily and spicy food and beverages if possible. A regular intake of fiber supplements can help in removing the waste that accumulates in the anal canal during bowel movement.

Another recommended procedure is hydrotherapy. In this procedure, patients are placed in a small enclosure and water is gently circulated inside. This procedure helps in increasing the oxygen content in the blood and reducing inflammation in the anal canal and the surrounding tissues. This procedure is a safe procedure that can be carried out at home by the patient. The only risk involved in this procedure is infection of the veins of the rectum if the patient does not follow the recommended treatment schedule.
